Recently, Kobe Bryant LLC filed trademark applications for a series of words & logos associated with the late Kobe Bryant, his late daughter Gigi, and the Mamba Sports Academy. If these applications get approved, whoever controls Kobe Bryant LLC will have the exclusive right to use those trademarks to carry on Kobe’s legacy.
In this video, we’re going to talk about how to trademark a business name and logo in Canada. Specifically, we’ll be breaking down some of the trademark applications that Kobe’s estate filed, which trademark class was chosen, and what that would look like if he had been Canadian.
